OUTSPOKEN ATTITUDE. UNDERSTATED STYLE.
Engineered by Adi Dassler in the 1950s, Samba quickly became a mainstay of British terrace culture.
Throughout the oncoming decades, whilst tastes and trends changed, Samba stayed true to its origins. Its statement black and white colours and no-nonsense design became a favourite with creators around the world that shared the shoe’s uncompromising attitude.
Today, Samba’s timeless silhouette has become a trademark for those that seek to avoid the hype, making their statement through subtlety– not selfies.
Utilising the iconic black and white colours of the franchise, we looked to create a campaign that celebrated the outspoken yet understated style of the Samba and its consumers. Adopted by a range of style tribes, we worked with adidas to ensure that styling felt relevant and editorial, capturing the multiple looks of the Samba consumer.
